The ATR FSX Edition has been Released!!!
May 23, 2008Initially we didn’t think the ATR FSX Edition would ever happen… but, as they say, never say never, and we managed to make it happen.
The ATR FSX version took WAY longer than originally planned to develop and get out the door, but we hope the wait was worth it.
The ATR is a very complex aircraft, and FS2Crew had the benefit of something akin to an SDK for it, so the level the integration is very high and seamless.
The ATR Edition of FS2Crew is also a complex product (probably one of the most complex versions of FS2Crew), and you’re going to need to read the manual. Even if you own the FS9 version. A lot of changes were made from the FS9 version, and FS9 version owners will need to get up to speed with the changes.

The FSX ATR is coming in over the numbers!
May 22, 2008FSX ATR Edition beta testers are giving FS2Crew FSX ATR the green light.
Barring anything major, expect a weekend release!

Where it all happens…
May 17, 2008I thought I’d share a shot of where it all happens. When I’m not on the road, this is my main office, where I write code and manage FS2Crew. My main work computer is my Asus G1S notebook, seen here. If you’re looking for a notebook I recommend an Asus. My little notebook has spent a lot of time on the road, and it has never let me down once.

Airbus and ATR News!!!
May 9, 2008Service Update 2 for the FS2Crew A320 has just been released. It’s available on the Downloads & Service Updates page.
Service Update 2 is for FS2Crew A320 Edition Owners only. If you own the FS2Crew Airbus Special Edition, do NOT install this update.
Service Update 2 basically takes the improvements that were incorporated into the Special Edition and incorporates them into the A320 Edition.
Note that that A320 Edition is no longer available for sale; it was discontinued and replaced by the Airbus Special Edition which works with Wilco feelThere Volume 1 and Volume 2 models.
On the Flight1 ATR FSX Edition front, beta testing has begun.
We expect beta testing to last one to two weeks.
Once we’re convinced that the product is rock solid, we will release it to the public.
So keep your eyes peeled on the FS2Crew website. It’ll be out very soon!
The FSX ATR edition includes a lot of enhancements and refinements over the FS9 version. A full list is available via the FS2Crew Support Forum.
