We need more MD-11 Voice Actors

July 11, 2008

We need more voice actors for the MD-11 version.

We specifically need the following accents:

British

American

French

German

Spanish

To record, all you need is a microphone that you can plug into your computer.  No fancy sound studio required.

Please visit the FS2Crew website at www.fs2crew.com and send FS2Crew an email to apply.

Volunteers will receive a free copy of the MD-11 version when it’s released.

Service Pack 2 for FS2Crew FSX LDS 767

July 11, 2008

I just officially release Serviced Update 2 for the LDS 767 (FSX Version).

It corrects an issue with the Go-Around logic.

You can get the update on the FS2Crew website.

I’ve also discounted Flight Crew X by 5 Euros.

The Pushback Tug

July 6, 2008

It’s rainy season now, and while we don’t get much rain (surprisingly), it’s plenty humid.  The air feels rich in oxygen, which I like, but the ever-present film of humidity that covers my body day and night is something I will never become used to.

I pity the poor locals (in particular those doing their national service) who have to wear full army fatigues in this humidity.  I wonder if Asians perspire less than Occidentals such as myself?

At any rate, thanks to some insightful advice from Rob B., I managed to totally upgrade (no, totally re-write) the FSX Start Crew code.  The FSX pushback tug will now remain coupled to the aircraft during the push just as it should.

You’ll see it in the upcoming PMDG MD-11 version.
